Oh you Sympathizers like me, fear Allah and remember that no good or evil can reach you except it has been decreed by Allah! Remember that your affairs and final judgement is with Allah and not any man. Remember this fundamental principle whenever you come across any comment to ridicule your effort and commitment. Allah is our goal!
You're indeed a man and as a result fallible. You make effort to align all your efforts and activities to the divine scriptures (Qur'an and Sunnah) in line with the understanding of our early predecessors but you're are still bound to commit errors. Why? You have been created to be imperfect. However, you need be wise to know that your inherent nature of committing errors will not be an excuse against the consequences with your Creator, hence evaluate yourself and repent sincerely following the principles highlighted by the scholars. Don't live in denial!
You'll be criticized by both your true friends and your enemies. Your critics are leveraging on the divine instruction to help each other in doing righteousness and forbidding evil even though their intentions may be different. The perceived difference in intention is also not a license to take some and ignore some - you're required to review them objectively and more importantly sincerely to take the beneficial feedback to elevate yourself. Feedback is a gift!
Brethren, don't ever intend to retaliate! NEVER! You can clarify to put record straight and debunk false accusations but don't retaliate. You're workers on the path of Allah and He should be your goal. Show appreciation for all criticism and focus on the work of Allah and show love to everybody! Don't retaliate!
I know we are neither extremists nor laxists but balanced Muslim workers seeking the pleasure of Allah. Our collectivity and experience on the field of Da'awah (Islamic propagation) help us take more informed decision on jurisprudential and contemporary issues. If you're patient and focused on calling to the path of Allah, some of the critics will appreciate why we took some positions and know it's not only based on Qur'an and authentic Sunnah but also aligned with the understanding of the Salaf! Just be patient and calm ... "working is upon you, acceptance is for Allah".
Please be grateful to Allah for blessing you with this path of struggle towards attaining His pleasure and continue to strive to call mankind from the servitude of creatures to the Creator, Allah. Imagine the good that has been brought to humanity through you! You cover all spheres of human endeavors at both individual and group level. You have a well defined structure to interact with everybody irrespective of their educational background & level, gender, age, profession and status. Also, you have Zakat foundations, Hajj travel agencies, cooperative Bank, common front for bringing Islamic organizations together under an umbrella and other arms to practically demonstrate the call! Don't relent, and don't be distracted!
Which of the favours of your Lord will you deny? Praise Him morning and evening, show gratitude for His mercies and seek for His repentance from your errors, He's indeed merciful if you are sincere and obedient but stern in punishment if you are arrogant and disobedient! DON'T BE ARROGANT!
Work with sincerity and false criticism will fade with time, if Allah wills!
