Don't be heedless ... !

The most statement on the lips of the youth today and even exhibited in their actions is 'Enjoy this life as if there's no tomorrow'. This is an unfortunate and deceptive statement coined by shaytan to further mislead mankind from the guidance of Allah.

Why will life be lived as if there's no tomorrow when Allah has given all living being two tomorrows? One is certain and the other is not! One is an opportunity to change while the other is a chance to be judged. One present the  opportunity to choose while the other is for accountability of what has been chosen... The next breath and the next life!

One of the cornerstone of Islamic creed is belief in life after death. This is the spiritual phase of mankind starting with death through the grave to the day all creatures will be gathered to give account and either be rewarded or punished.

Take it or leave it, you will die! Yes, I'll die too! When, where and how are the only questions we cannot answer. The knowledge lies with our Creator.

When we know death is certain why not use the next breath to prepare for the next life? Are you doubting the life after death? Please reflect on the following verses:

"And indeed We have created man, and We know what his ownself whispers to him. And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein (by Our Knowledge).

(Remember!) that the two receivers (recording angels) receive (each human being after he or she has attained the age of puberty), one sitting on the right and one on the left (to note his or her actions).

Not a word does he (or she) utter, but there is a watcher by him ready (to record it).

And the Trumpet will be blown, that will be the Day whereof warning (had been given) (i.e. the Day of Resurrection).

And every person will come forth along with an (angel) to drive (him), and an (angel) to bear witness.

(It will be said to the sinners): "Indeed you were heedless of this, now We have removed your covering, and sharp is your sight this Day!" Suratu Qaf (50) v 16 - 22

Why and how do you enjoy sinful and disobedient way of life? Why don't you repent immediately?

Why do you abandon your daily obligatory prayers? Why don't you worship your creator as prescribed by Him?

Why do you drink alcohol that he forbid for you to live longer in sanity and honor? Why do you choose to ignore His commandments?

Why do you fornicate and engage in adultery? You're engaging in it because of its prevalence and you don't feel remorse?!

Why not reflect oh brethren?

Don't be heedless! Make effort to follow the commandments of your Creator!
