Women – The honorable species - #HONORABLESPECIES


I have read books and articles, largely written by Muslim writers, on how Islam honors women and how the West is struggling to debase them through ‘Civilization’ and ‘Women's Liberation’ – The two concepts Shaytan & his allies wrongly use to mislead humanity.

Islam encourages women to preserve their chastity and honor by covering their bodies and only making them accessible through legal marriage. The legal marriage requires her consent and that of her guardian. Unfortunately, the West is calling for absolute ‘freedom’ (another concept for misleading humanity), making women dress to impress people, thereby reducing them to objects of entertainment and mockery.

I witnessed a scene recently, where people were lured into buying a product using some ‘beautiful’ ladies. Those ladies, mainly undergraduates, were engaged to entice guys. So unfortunate to see guys pledging their hard-earned income not because they are interested in the product but because they can get ‘her number’ and possibly hang out with her after work. What a shame on elites & professionals, expected to radiate ethics and morals!!!

Oh Ladies! You’re honorable with dignity only if you remain chaste and only make yourself available through a legally consummated marriage, and not by selling your dignity and honor with a product that you know NOTHING about!

You’re created by God to be a daughter at the beginning, and that makes you a source of joy to the parent and can be a means of attaining paradise, if properly trained in the way of God.  You’re to be persuaded to accept a man as your husband, who will in turn respect you not only because he paid dowry but also because he struggled to have you as a wife.  You will always be guarded jealously by your husband, if you’re chaste! In Islam, you are also helping your husband to complete half of his faith, what an honorable status!!!  You will become a mother, so that when your child(ren) take care of you, you become one of their means of attaining paradise.

Don’t allow yourself to be used as an object of enjoyment and a marketing tool; you are worth more than that!!! You’re a wonderful creature of God to be honored at all stages of your life.

Your sense of judgement and fairness reflect your level of piety! The unity amongst the frontiers of Islam is currently a mirage and every Muslim is a victim of the weakness of our disunity. Judging from our history and the blessed writings of our scholars, Muslims cannot be truly united except on the pristine Islamic principles built on sound belief and doctrinal system - Aqeedah!
